Mrs. Williams - High School Principal

Mrs. T. Williams

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Colonial Beach High School.  I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a legacy of educational achievement and community partnership.  I have been dedicated to the field of education for 20 years.  I received my undergraduate degree in education from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia.  My Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision was obtained at California Coast and my Master’s Degree in System and School Leadership at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia.  Prior to becoming the principal of CBHS, I served as the Director of Student Services for Colonial Beach Public Schools.  I am excited to bring my skills as an educational administrator and instructional leader to this new role and to partner with you to ensure your child's success.

Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to build relationships with students, parents, and community partners. This year our focus will be on the use of data to drive instruction, promoting an environment that fosters a collaborative problem solving approach, working to establish our school as a trauma informed school and increasing rigor while being consistent in the implementation of the curriculum.

This year as we celebrate our 30th year in this building we will strive to continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous and relevant.  I have an open door policy and I welcome your input.  Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
